    Can running prevent Alzheimer’s?

Whether or not you experience the so-called “runner’s high,” running has been shown to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. A study in the International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology found that the antidepressant effects of running are due to more cell growth in the hippocampus.

Studies have shown that exercise on a track or treadmill increases molecules in the brain that contribute to learning and cognitive incline.  Regular running helps improve cognitive performance and, in the long run, helps prevent Alzheimer’s.

With air pollution plaguing urban runners, a multifunctional treadmill that can meet your many needs is a must.
